I Should Take Time For God
I Should Take Time For God!
God, I come and call on your name!
I have a load of
so much shame!
May family and friends all thought
I was living “pretty good.”
But inside of me…
They never understood!
Those who were close to me
didn’t seem to know…
All I was doing was just
“putting on a show!”
Those I went to church with in our town…
Didn’t seem to know what was
“dragging me down.”
Lord… I’m sick and tired of the
kind of life I’ve had!
Please can change my life!
I’ll be forever glad!
I may “impress” others...
But it’s God… I’ll never fool!
Jesus… I invite you to
come into my heart and rule!
Thank you God for bringing
hope to my life again!
It’s only in YOU that a
NEW life begins!
