I Shall Be Thy Haven

I shall be thy haven
when life's rain begins to fall
Seeping through to thy very bones
Casting a somber pall

Whilst tears of defeat course downward
from thy soul bleak and drained
Upon my bosom rest thy brow
Let not thy darkness be thy bane
