I See You In My Dreams
I see you in my dreams
I do not want to wake.
Being away from you
I often sit and cry.
I had to move away
That choice I didn’t make.
Time has passed so quickly
Many memories we’ve shared.
I try to fight this feeling
But that is difficult to do.
The good times I remember
How much we truly cared.
Perhaps I’m just dreaming
Hoping it’s really true.
That when I do wake up
You’re lying next to me.
