I See It
I see it
lost in your eyes
among the tears that flow
when all seems lost and hopeless.
A dance once swayed your feet
measuring the steps to take
between us and our dreams
suddenly disappearing in the night.
How do we say goodbye
when time has run out
and I am alone
standing without a partner?
Come back to me
just a moment of memory in time
and let me see
the dream lost.
