I see, I watch, and I observe

I see, I watch, and I observe, It's a hazy night. The clouds have clouded the moon, The moon vanishing, as if it were noon. Though it's not a shadowless night, The shadows of us are reflected by the city lights. Do the fireflies shine brighter in the meadows? Reflecting ourselves on the flowers in the form of shadows? Do the heavens wish to release rain and thunder? With the clouds serving as the bartender? If it rains, I shall preserve, And if thunder sounds, I shall swerve. A hearty storm is coming by, Thunder rumbles with lightning high, The moon is enveloped, no more light, Darkness again to some's delight I see, watch, and observe, Will the rain fall, depleting it's reserve? I wonder, ponder and consider, But for now it's time I seek shelter.
