I say that I'm over you

I say I'm over you Yet I see you everywhere In the beach Picking up shells and pretending That I'd bring them to you Saving the iridescent ones For you And I'd watch the sunset Act like you're next to me I can almost smell your cologne in the air Then I turn and realize again You're not there I say I'm over you And I see you talking with someone else Someone prettier than I'll ever be Feel my heart break into Smaller pieces from the already small pieces You've left behind But I shouldn't feel that way And I say that I'm over you
