I Saw the Sun Rise
I looked in her eyes
and saw the sun rise
against a backdrop of blue
morning's beauty shone through
That vision sustained me
through stormy mid-day
when afternoon tempests
darkened my way...
Once more the sun shone
as it set in her eyes
Aglow with its light
My world set aright
