I Saw An Angel

In my sorrow in my pain
I meet an angel that uttered my name
He saw my shame
But gave no blame.

He held my hand and began to proclaim
This life you live isn't a game
I bowed my head made a sigh
Held my breath began to cry.

It was clear that this angel was here to stay
His words were kind
His voice was near
I bent my knees and fell in fear.

These words I heard
Gave my heart a scare
Out of the house of David
I came to wipe your tear.
