I Saw a Rainbow Today
i saw a rainbow today
i had to take a picture while i was driving
i was not worried about a pot of gold
i was not concerned with a leprechaun
i did not have a sudden taste for a bowl of lucky charms
my only thought was that God was Smiling Down on the earth
the beautification of the rainbow was His Gift for in inspiring His Smile
in that moment i had no worry about worries in this modern life
the feeling itself was extraordinarily ecstatic and will forever be in the picture frame on the mantle of my mind
