I Red It Somewhere

I dream about it all the time But when I’m awake I need to be reminded To become more aware That I am not alone I can’t possibly be the only one Whose becoming enlightened I’ve been sucker punched Blind sided Stomped on Manipulated Rounded up Hornswoggled Cheated But the worse is to be ignored Forgotten with no redemption Was it carved in stone Or written in blood on a fallen leaf That blew away in the wind

Sometimes perhaps selfishly we/I forget the pool of talent that exists on ps, more often for me it's time, not enough, but I wanted to address that, and I couldn't have chosen a better poem, this is such a wonderful write, in particular the final 3 lines "Was it carved in stone Or written in blood on a fallen leaf That blew away in the wind" I won't forget you, and I will return. I create many works with "Red" somewhere within it. Even my email is cherylredmisread. My photo studio is named C Red Photography. Just curious what"Red"represents for you.
