I Received a Gift

By the ocean cliff
Presented care
Fresh air
Personal tourist
Guided us through his forest
Challenges overcame
Through the muck and rocky terrain
Boy and girl
Seen chasing squirrels
Spoken words
Our Lord has heard
God gave us strength to stand
Holding hands
Held us up
Lord is our cup
Believe it
We receive it
To the ocean banks
Gave our thanks
Told us to gather
Heard our laughter
Master
Your love matters

Such a lovely tribute poem. I also chased squirrels as a child, until I heard they could be vicious. Lovely to look at though.
