I Put a Spell On You -Alisa's Version

Verse1

I put a spell on you

Did you feel how I did it?

I tried to be the best for you

Did you feel what I felt?

I was still a kid,

I think, you did admit it

I had a desire to

Be liked by you

pre-chorus

So I’m afraid you have no clue

Who is with you? What is my colour for true?

chorus

My nightmare is you decide to go

Claiming that I was a fake in all

I tried to be ideal girl, hiding my flaws

I shouldn’t played with life, I know

I was deeply in love with you, I hoped

sometimes it could be forced

because
I thought that you were mine

verse

I put a spell on you

I shouldn’t have done it (have done it)

But I was so selfish in

My wills and my dreams

I tried to change the fate (poor fate)

Decided “it’s just a game”

thought “there’s no other way”

Be liked by you

pre-chorus

So I’m afraid you have no clue

Who is with you? What is my colour for true?

 chorus

My nightmare is you decide to go

Claiming that I was a fake in all

I tried to be ideal girl, hiding my flaws

I shouldn’t played with life, I know

I was deeply in love with you, I hoped

sometimes it could be forced
because
I thought that you were mine

There is a song "I put a spell on you" by Screaming Jay Hawkins. I was so amazed by the lyrics, the voice and the music , that I decided to write a story from the woman's perspective.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
