I Progress

I am progressing and I am happy,

A little bit added here, a touch removed there,
I am progressing and I am happy.

Two steps forward and one step back,
I am still progressing and I am still happy.

The pace may slow
But I won't lose my glow,
Progress is progress
And I am still happy.

But things do sometimes stall,
With progress hard to find at all. 
And frustration about to leave my happy mood behind
That is when I have to remember what I have forgotten
For progress to be gotten
And I am happy again.

You can do this too,
If you have a basket or two
For your eggs
Or variety is the spice in your lives.

You seem to have achieved that and that is marvelous my friend! David Smith July 9, 2016 at 12:58 AM Happiness in small things my friend. Better in the inner core than on outside for show. I have a few imperfections to work on. Aim to be better not perfect.
