I Only Want To Sleep

I only want to sleep, forget and dream
maybe, watch the stars at night and lay with
my girl among the earth and trees, to hold
tight her hand and hear her sing throughout the
house. To see the early rays of light as
they kiss her hair, so brown and tumbled out
across the sheets, to laugh and play amongst
fallen leaves at summers end with fury
and passion; which will never end with day.
