I Needed You In My Life

You said we were meant to be,
You said I was amazing,
And I was so perfect for you.
But what about you?
I was in love with you,
I made every effort to be with you,
And sacrificed do much for you,
Because you once made me happy.
But you made no attempt,
You never really showed any effort,
For our love.
So why should I try for us,
When you never sacrificed anything for me?
If you want me to be the one for you,
Then where were you,
When I needed you?
I needed you to love me,
To cherish me,
And make me feel happy.
I needed you in my life,
And you were never there…
Your love for me,
Was it ever real?
