I Need You

I don't think you understand how much I need you, so I'm going to explain. 
Then maybe you'll know what I mean. 

I need you like a heart needs a beat.

I need you like a car needs a street.

I need you like a bed needs a sheet. 

I need you like the sun needs heat.

I need you like the sky needs blue.

I need you like kids need school.

I need you like people need food.

I need you like a foot needs a shoe.

I need you.
