I Need To Be Alone

I Need To Be Alone

I needed the time alone
   Is what she said on the phone
      His call had set the tone

Never showing up
   He was so abrupt
      His words so corrupt

No reason
   No rhyme
      Not this time

I am on my own
   All alone
      Just like I said on the phone
