I Must Have Loved You In the Past

I must have loved you in the past, Your fragrance delights my senses, Your black-burgundy hair provides A wispy frame for your lovely face. How could a glance have said so much, And cause a chill without a touch ? A pretty face, framed in soft hair, Attractive & responsive unpainted lips. Your warm eyes, your laugh, The sincere way you speak and As you unfolded yourself to me, I discovered more and more beauty. A perfectly painted portrait. I see the birds so high above, Their songs sing of our special moment, And looking to the sky that bends above you Evening twilight softly lightens over your face. You have brightened all my ways of life. Oh! My dear sweet, precious girl, I must have loved you in the past. _________________________________ Thank you for reading. Chitta
