I Miss You
I watched you grow,
I watched you sleep right next to me,
All the good times we had,
I'd come home from the bus,
Always to see your golden face and wagging tail,
Why did you have to go?
I miss you.
"he" made me watch you suffer,
"he" made me cry,
"he" made me lose you, my best friend in the world,
If you were still here things would be great!
Do you remember those snowy days and nights,
Catching the snowballs in mid-air?
Remember you and me...playing in the mud,
After the rainstorm?
I watched you grow, just like you watched me,
I miss those days, and now I only have memories,
Knowing I can never replace them,
I miss you!
I need you!
I love you!
You will never be forgotten!
But I do miss you......l
