Like the sky without the moon
Like the fork without the spoon
Like the pea without the pod
Like the faith without the God
Like the well without the wish
Like the ocean without the fish
Like the tree without the branch
Like the music without the dance
Like the wine without the cheese
Like the thanks without the please
Like the thrill without the chase
Like the rat without the race
Like the life without the chance
Like the love without the romance
Like the grass without the dew
And like the me without the you
… I miss you
