I miss

How
Do I
Speak to her,
To read her these
pages she have yet
to see, without words with
No heat, she barely knows of
The sudden storms that are yet to
Be seen, greeting her heart and burn her
blinds, I miss that girl , unbroken by a
man's dumb smile, unfazed nor disgraced by cracks
Wish she knew how much deeper love can
turn black, I've surrendered to the
rust, soon after settling the
dust, I now know more what
Mangled hearts can trust,
Now ,I remain
Content with
My old
Knees.

Always love a double etheree, your take made me smile too as you mentioned dumb smiles, lol. Sometimes we learn much later that so many good things can turn into darkness and leave us reminiscing and missing golden days while sitting in our chair of nostalgia! Youv expressed very well here and its so good to see you writing! Congratulations on your win

Well done on doing a double etheree you did it really well.. you really do make me smile, you say profound words, but then you put a little humour into it also.. Only you can make the change you desire.... Best of luck in this contest..
