I Met a Lady

I met a lady
That I do not regret.
She met me
With the same sorrow.
Though our energies
Drift far between,
Our moments embrace
What distance cannot.
For we are givers
Of love,
Two weary souls
Who found a gentle harbor
In each other's tide.
