I Made a World Around It

I made a world around it
I made another world
Where you're not really welcome
You belong in the other world

Don't delve into my creation
Don't think you have a half a chance
Don't wish that somehow I'd love you
Don't ask and I won't have to disappoint

I made a world around it
So I wouldn't have to feel the pain
I killed my own self so that I could be reborn

I made a world and buried it
In the deepest ocean of my mind
Sometimes I feel it's trying to escape
To make me feed off all your lies

I made my world better
Better than yours, his, hers, theirs
It's built within my mind
So no one can destroy it
Don't seek because you will not find

I made a world around it
Using the power of my mind
I lost something that can not be replaced
No matter how hard I'd try to find

I made my world without you
Because you tore my heart in two
I made my world without you
Because I no longer love you
