I love jumping in puddles I will wear my boots of red Today I got mummy soaking wet So she sent me straight to bed I shut both eyes so tightly and then tried counting sheep But no matter how hard I tried I just could not get to sleep I shouted down to mummy and she came up to see me I told her that I was sorry she forgets I’m only three! This is such sweet and adorable nursery rhyme, Jan. I love the way it is written from a small child's point of view. The picture is wonderful, too. hugs, Evelyn

Smashing poem Jan. My avatar is of Tara, the most spectacular, awesome dog that ever lived. We had a park that had a dip running right across it. When it rained it was like a 300 metre puddle. Tara would ignore the entire park to splash through every inch of that puddle... and back. And then she’d hunt us down and shake! Thanks for reviving that memory and good luck in contest. Terry

I had quite a giggle when I read the last line, Jan. This sounds like a "true" story as it must happen often. Adorable! Best wishes in the contest. Hugs, Carolyn

I loved watching my 3-year-old daughter in her red Wellies jumping in puddles, so really enjoyed this. Animals - as well as seniors - enjoy jumping in puddles today in Waikiki! Aloha! Rico

Ahh!! Reads like a good contender to me for the contest. Way to go. Sometimes parents do forget that children are children and not miniature adults. Your presence at my page was uplifting. Sara
