I Love a Flower - Alexis Karpouzos

I love a flower,
i stretch my hand
and touch his soft leaves
and it sends me a sweet smell.
it's a tacit love,
in the sense of wonder
we found in each other,
secret signals from another life
that bring poetry to my heart.

I love a flower; I love to see its blooming, I love to smell, I do not stretch to sever it or I do not kill it, I give it time to live lovely till its last breathing or fading glory!
