I Lost You

I lost you

You were there in from of me
I held you in my hands
I didn't know what I had
it only took an instant and you were gone
I looked for you but gave up to easy
now I think of you all the time
I wonder where you are
and what could have been
you were the jem almost had
you have the beauty I always dream of
I had a glimpse of what my life could be
now I have dreams to help me live
as I have no life of my own
I just sit here all alone

You're not alone if you have faith, Dean.

Thank you. Tell me, I need the truth. I think some of my poems are amazingly good. But I just can't tell. I feel like a primitive beginner. Do they read like beautiful art....what are they..??? Tell me they are beautiful...did they make you cry?
