I Lost My Parents (Age:8)

I lost my parents, oh what will I do? Now who will be there to help tie my shoe, Or help me to try and count six plus two, I've got to go find them, it's all up to me, I better start looking, but where could they be? The first place I'll check will of course be the zoo, Because Daddy likes "Mickey" and Mommy likes "Pooh". If I don't find them there, the next place I'll look Will be in the back of my pre-school book; Mommy and daddy just bought it for me, It was a present when I turned three. If I can't find them still, There'll be no way to stop it, I'll have to go up and check in my closet! I know it'll be scary, closet monsters are hard, But I gotta go do it, and keep up my guard; Mommy and Daddy are counting on me, I better start looking, But where could they be?
