I Long To Be Free

I long to be free, Why can't they let me be me? They don't understand that I'm just different. Isn't life so brilliant. They try to change my ways. They try to turn off my blaze. I long to be free, I long to leave. I see the exit so near, I can see it so clear. I want nothing more to just escape this place, To forget all their faces. I long to be free, From this place I'm going to flee. To leave the past behind, I just want to find someone so kind. It beacons me to run farther away. So I leave to find that better place with nothing more to say.
