I Long For the Day

I long for the day, when your finger tips trail across my tanned skin, just like the suns rays kissing me ever so delicately. I long for the day when my head rest against your chest; How you can make my tattered heart skip a beat in its messed up melody. I long for the day when the words you speak becomes true, waiting for the "I love yous" to become implanted into my skin, carved into my bones, courses through my veins. I long for the day when the promises you make stay, please kiss me goodnight. Be there the next day.
