I Lift Up My Eyes

Psalm 121: I lift up my eyes to the hills; Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord The Maker of heaven and earth! Each morn the first thing I do when I arise, Is throw open the blinds to greet a glorious sunrise! Then, I cite Psalm 121 lifting my eyes t'ward majestic Pikes Peak, But, alas, America's Mountain hasn't been visible for nearly a week! Smoke from western fires have eclipsed my view of that venerable mount. His Handiwork has inspired me more times than I can recount! Even though I cannot see it, I know Pikes Peak will e'er be there, And I will continue to lift up my eyes each morn and recite my prayer!

Thanks Lindsay. I know you are well aware of bush fires and their smoke. It has pretty well cleared up around here for the time being. Pikes Peak which I can glance up from typing this is very inspirational and special. Take great care old mate! Bob H

There you go. Keep the Faith... btw: You hit on my absolute favorite Psalm there. There's a nice melody that goes with the original Hebrew too. Thanks for posting. Help and Healing, Gershon

Thank you, Tom. Usually when I sit working with the 'puter I can simply glance up and see Pikes Peak in all its glory. Not today, however - all covered with smoke and the dim sun is shining red. Take good care - Bob
