I Let You Go

It's one a.m.,
I always think of you,
Your truly the only one who knows me.
We just grew apart.
You didn't want to,
Take the journey with me.
You wanted me to give up my dreams,
Something I wasn't ready to let go of.
I needed my independence,
My freedom,
My sexuality,
The innocence of my heart.
You truly never understood me,
You don't know where I've been.
You could never feel my heart,
Feel my soul,
Feel my inner being.
My heart breaks as I let you go,
So that I could breathe,
So that I can live again.

Hello Okiegirlsrock, I hope all is well with you. Oh that is a horrible heartache. I do not blame you for letting go. Enjoy your day my friend. Hugs.

Yes there comes a time when wishing doesn't make it so. You just have to let go. Enjoy yourself also.
