I let it slip away. With every fleeting day, The countdown ticks, and the woodworm picks.   I let it slip away. We deplete into decay. A heartbreak needs a fix. Sticky roll pops claim extra licks. I let it slip away. Vowed to repay them that day. I value how you play your tricks. Yet, what kicks, it sticks! I let it slip away. Bear your wings and fly. Can you hold a rucksack of bricks? Rose ovens heat furnace skips. I let it slip away. When the boys play City life pops, spills, and kicks. till they're three ruby clicks.
