I Laugh

I laugh
When storms brew and the rain is cold;
I laugh
When the road is never ending and rocky;
I laugh
When trouble finds me around every bend;
I laugh
When judgements come from outside forces;
I laugh
When approached in anger by another;
I laugh
When adversity is found in conversations;
I laugh
When challenged by struggle and obstacles;
I laugh
When the coyote is at my door;
I laugh
When there is chaos in the world;
I laugh
For none of these things will break me;
They will worry me not in the least.
I have no doubts in myself;
Within I remain at peace.
Come what may, I will remain;
Unshaken by society.
I am true to myself;
That alone keeps me free.
So, I laugh
