Ah, John, my dear and talented friend.. the sentimental lyrics, the vocals and the music are all so very beautiful. The melody of "I know you are the one... you are the one... for me" has me hooked! A gorgeous song and a Fav! It has the emotional/musical connection of a James Ingram or Brian McKnight song. Congratulations for your well-deserved honor of POTW. Such a grand and worthy choice! Indeed, it is a dilemma, my friend.. isn't it a coincidence that you are trying to pitch the song to Brian McKnight and he’s the very same male vocalist I had in mind when listening to your song.. other than the late and so very great James Ingram. Brian McKnight's soulful vocals would take this tender song to beyond heaven. I'm sooo happy for you to receive your first POTW, John.. although with your brilliant work here it should have happened sooner and more often, in my humble opinion..

Thanks Susan, I am thrilled you like it enough to fave it, this is the first POTW for me so I'm grateful for the recognition. funny you mention Brian McNight I am trying to pitch the song to him, and also Dan Hill, but they're not recording much these days, so it's a dilemma because the young modern vocalist look for something different!

John, absolutely beautiful lyrics and music and I love the sound of your voice. I have tears because it reminded me so much of my true love who died in a car crash. We had that kind of love and we were going to be forever, but God had another destiny for him. This a FAV for me because I want to listen to it over and over ~ peace and harmony _Constance

Thanks Lexi, I'm glad you came by and liked the song, the vocalist is practically unknown so you wouldn't know him, he's the one who composed the music as well. We are still looking for a proper vocalist to record this demo. His name is Vadim.
