I Know Who You Are

I don’t know you for we have never met
But still I believe that I know you well
This is the impression that I get
I can see from afar that you are a gentle man
With an open mind with a wily wit
Coiled at ready always close at hand
You are a smith with words a cleaver tale you tell
Your humor is beguiling yet it ranges wide and far
I imagine you will smile a bit as you read this write
While you gently set it aside having deemed it to be sub-par
