I Know Who I Am
I ponder
Eyes wander
Tomorrow
I defeat sorrow
Today
I am shown the way
Observe
Earth's curve
Learn to love
Like the dove
Take flight
Tonight
I am free
To swim in the sea
A glorious ocean
It's my devotion
The stars sing
A lovely thing
Shimmering star shine
It's divine
I know who I am
I am not Sam
I am Chris
And I miss
Everything I was
Before the buzz
Before the fear
I shed a tear
Today I am weak
I can barely speak
In a world of extravagance
I just want a chance
To light the fire
Of lifelong desire
I am free
It fills me with glee
Tonight
I take flight
