I Know That I Am This Soul
I know that I am
(This soul)

I look at this image
The mirror reflects her to me
I see inside the beauty
The soul I'd like to be
As this shell becomes weathered
Like a lighthouse in the storms
I remember that I braved every one
My Light in ocean's forever crowned
For I rose each time, each time
Whether near death or gasping
I swam and swam and paid my dues
To Heaven's Angels and Hell's Demons
And as I reflect upon this path
This winding trek to mountain tops
I know the temples that there adorned
Stand waiting for my wisdom
For I am the Master now
I who knows both up and down
Heaven and Hell and Purgatory's grounds
Stillness and echoes, loudness and gongs
Whether Cherubs or Hell Hounds or Nothingness
I know that I am
I know that I am
I know that I am
This soul is ready
This soul is true
This soul is wise
This soul is pure
This soul is Heaven
This soul is Hell
This soul is the Universe
This soul is a bell
Its sound is Light
Its sound is free
Its sound is transcendent
Its sound is meaningful
And whilst I am here
In this dimension
I exist in all ways
In all directions
The mirror's reflection changes
This ageing image is mortal
But I know that I am forever
A powerful soul victorious
