I Know Now
You can change the way you dress
In a lost attempt to impress
You can change the way you talk
And even the way you walk
But you can’t take back your lies
The ones shadowed behind your eyes
I’m not letting your lies control me
Make me something I don’t want to be
I’ve tried to forget, even forgive
But lies are only how you life
I can’t stand you, you forked tongued snake.
Since all the lies that you’d make I don’t need you anymore
‘Cause I’m stronger than before
I once told you I loved you
And I wish I knew then what you’d do.
You are nothing to me
‘Cause I’m better than you’ll EVER be.
