I Knew Right From the Start
I just knew one day you'd come back to me
In my heart I knew we were meant to be
From the first time I met you
I knew what I felt was true
No matter how I tried I just couldn’t deny
Though even now I can't explain how or why
I knew right then I was drawn to you
From the start didn't have the slightest clue
That with you I'd find my happy ever after
But I got caught up in the fun and laughter
All night long we sat watching the same show
Being with you made my smile glow
And I knew right from the start
In no time at all you would own my heart
Now 2 years later
Things couldn't be greater
Meeting you that April day changed my life
And for 3 months now I've been your wife
Some days we still have a hard time
But I am so happy you are mine
Even on those days so blue
I couldn't imagine them with anyone but you
There were times we thought we lost it for sure
But our love was strong enough to endure
Anything and everything we ever went thru
Just goes to show our love really is true
Though at times we were full of doubt
Somehow we made it out
Stronger and even more in love than before
But those aren't things we must go thru anymore
The odds we were forced to face in the past
Has proved the love we share will last
And I think there was a part of my heart
That knew all this right from the start!!!!
