I Knew

When I first met you
I knew I always loved you

Your eyes they conquered
Consumed every part of me
I tried to swim in the mire
I sank further into desire
I drowned in those deep pools
As it slowly pulled me under
Taking my breath away
I was in to deep
Into my heart you did creep
Pulled under by the trance
Knowing that by chance
These ripples could rip me apart
Touch the deepest of my heart

When I first met you
I knew I always loved you.
