I Killed Forever
I killed forever,
a marriage that was supposed to live,
two souls united, not to sever
the ability to unconditionally give.
With my actions I did fault,
I killed forever,
setting to blaze everything in our love’s vault,
to the forbidden, I stumbled on never.
To a bad soul, I pulled it’s lever
and vanished the man you trust...
I killed forever,
to that our rings will rust.
True love was ours to have,
but now, a forgotten endeavor...
for all my days I will be sad,
I killed forever.
