I, Icon

I, icon

Nothing to perpetuate myself,
But I am not made for any hurt,

Subtle at heart, wish to die unknown,
Live with an intent to have pure fun,
Relish every moment to its full,
Believe only through logical reasoning,

Not acceptable to me is a world of boundaries,
Caste, colour and creed divide,
Need of visas and security checks,
When anywhere these birds can fly,

Souls chained in rules and discipline,
Free thoughts why can't we imply,
Selfish gains, crime and wars,
Can we for peace, forget fights ?

I probably am living in a fantasy,
Of love, faith and virtual harmony,
Intolerant to betrayal and hatred,
as the dearest leave you shattered,

God if I had the strength to change the world,
Trust, love and honour for emotions I would plead !
