I Hope You See

Your friends say that your sorry

For rants and pain you caused

And that you knew they meant well

While you built up all those walls

I can't help think you see now

That your friends were not alone

In a quest to save your future

Was a man where you called home

Fighting not against you

But defending a lost soul

Picking up the pieces

To make you feel whole

And now your visions clearer

I hope that you can see

Your foe was just depression

And was never me
