I Hope

I hope my memory haunts you,
it will never go away
that my voice is an echo
in your head to stay.

I hope that you're hurting
with choices that you made
remembering how you hurt me
the pain will never fade.

I hope all your wishful dreams,
throwing pennies into a well
will never come true
making each day seem like hell.

I hope you see how I loved you,
and realize it was true
and cry at all you lost,
because there's nothing you can do.
