I Hold a Rose You Gave Me

"I hold a rose you gave me"

I hold a rose you gave me

happiness fills with reflection
on that one fine gentle day
looking back I feel what I felt
dancing in your arms carrying love

amazingly passion grew and bloomed

resting on the wings of a butterfly
only we inherit this wind of desire
soaring with the sun and moon above
forever holding a rose of love to mold

Top of the Morning Daniel. Hi. Words can not express such a comment and review. I still have much to learn regarding the written word and expressions of poetry but I keep trying. I consider myself to be a better reader than writer so I can always spot poetry a mile away (smile). Also I continue to write of romance because I consider love to be one of the heartbeats of poetry.
