I Have No Words

I am a man,
but yet I hurt.
I cry.
Tears fall 
into an empty void
where my heart had lain.
I don’t know now
what to do or
what to say,
but yet I still feel
love and pain
together.
Conscious,
but not wanting to be
I must move ahead.
Responsibilities,
not to me,
but to others,
so I must smile
just the same
with the façade
that all is well.
You may see me
but I won’t be here
as my mind 
is somewhere else.
I do not wish to be rude
but I cannot be for myself
anymore, as my life
must be led for others.
