I Have Fallen

many people see me as a leaf
but there much more to me then seen
you see i see all
i see the lovely couple who walk upon the rose bloom wall
i see all the happiness and laughter as the children climb my home
i see the worry and sadness from those without a home
i see all but truth in this wicked world
i see the hatred and the pain that show on these woman's faces
for i am a leaf
light empty and forgotten
but though i have no attention
i still see all
i still remember each face that passed my home
i still hear the children's laughter
but today is the day i shall fall
i know its coming but i am not afraid
for i will remember you all someday
for now i will lie
peaceful in my grave
and wish for happiness on those who cave
i wish the best of my happy home
but its time to leave and i wish i could stay but its not for me
goodbye young children
goodbye my friends
and hello to the ground waiting for me
i shall fall peacefully
for the wind will catch me
and i shall sleep peacefully
because i am just a leaf
