I Have a Friend

I have a friend so near and I've no need to fear;
whatever comes today, HE'll guide me all the way.

I have a friend so faithful and HE knows my every care;
whatever comes tomorrow, HE'll guide me through the day.

I have a friend forever and HE died to save my soul;
whatever the future holds, HE has risen and shall prevail.
