I Hate Me

You let me love you You really shouldn’t Babe I am very insane Just a typical crave I’ve made you my creature Keeper of your darkest secrets Those unshaven hairs revealed Looking down upon you Your soft snore, sleeping My delightful monkey You’re my sweet love You’re filled with me My DNA I have pumped you full Until you look like me How can I leave you? If someone bothered you I would gladly kill them If a girl tempted me I’d pretend to love her I hate me © Copyright G. Jones 2008

i love your poem. the way you arrange it and i see the suffering you are doing to just try to hate yourself. you either love some one or you don't. the clincher is that little life left behind with your dna. again, a beautiful piece. janetta

Such strong emotion. You express well the torment of temptation and anger. I hope that you don't really hate you as we love your writing here at the soup. Your words here are dripping with the drama of a writers mind and the passion of a writers heart. Thank you for sharing. Smiles from Lena "Lolita"
