I HAD A DREAM A vaccine has been found, Announced worldwide across all media, Happiness and euphoria around, A vaccine has been found! People group together and cry For all the people that had to die, Covid -19 ravaged humanity, With profane insanity A vaccine has been found Happiness and euphoria around Not allowed to visit our sick A fear the virus would be quick To take us down too, We would then spread this Venom to more than a few, Were the authorities not strong Were they too meek, were they wrong? A vaccine has been found, Kneel down and kiss the ground. And hear the prayers and praise Such a wonderful sound Planet earth deserves this break From this devil like snake Have we learnt our lesson about greed That the poor have also to feed, That water must run for one and all Hope we never ever again have the gall To reserve this right for the elite, Water must abound for billions of feet. No grievances, bickering and war, No bullying, fights and blood and gore! A vaccine has been found Exhilaration and joy abound, Just imagine if this could be true, It will one day, this happiness is surely due, We have lost fathers and mothers And sisters and brothers, And husbands and wives, And children in the prime of their young lives, A vaccine has been found, Our unseen enemy has been downed!
